La Federación Ecuatoriana de Enfermeras y Enfermeros (FEDE)
It is a trade union organisation, made up of nurses who practice their profession in public, private and home settings, in various areas related to health care.
It is legally recognised by the relevant state bodies and is divided into provincial colleges that group together nursing professionals from each province. They implement the FEDE’s policies and strategies through local development plans to promote the unity, solidary and identity of the nursing colleagues and to uphold human rights and employment rights.
