Colegio de Enfermeras del Uruguay (CEDU)

The Colegio de Enfermeras del Uruguay was born as an Association in 1921, with more than 100 years of existence, it brings together the largest group of Professionals in Uruguay and represents it in all National and International Organizations such as the Regional Council of Nursing of Mercosur (CREM), in the Pan-American Federation of Nursing Professionals (FEPPEN) and in the International Council of Nurses (ICN).

To watch over a Professional Organization whose practice is competent, ethical and deontological, contributing to the integral and humanized care of the person, family and community, through preventive and promotional strategies. 

Vision

 To be a Professional Organization leader in human and professional development with scientific and technical culture, for its organizational structure and high management capacity, allowing to raise the quality, achieving the impact of recognition within society. 

Objective

To be the link of union of Uruguayan nursing throughout the national and international territory in scientific aspects of the practice of the profession, for the benefit of the health of our members and in general of human beings who require nursing services.
