Global dialogue on protecting health care from violence

A peer-exchange webinar on good practices

Thursday 1 December 2022 from 13:00 to 14:30 (CET)

A panel of international speakers discussed their experience in tackling or mitigating violence, including safe working environments or the safety of health care personnel.

Objectives of the webinar:

  • Advocate for safety – gain insights on the global trend of violent incidents against health care settings and personnel, and the driving factors of these incidents.
  • Share your experiences – exchange with peers who are engaged in the direct implementation of violence mitigation measures worldwide.
  • Turn awareness into action – benefit from examples of good practices and successful actions for the prevention and reduction of violence against health care.

About the organizers:

The International Council of Nurses, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Hospital Federation, and the World Medical Association are members of the global Community of Concern of the Health Care in Danger initiative.
