Agustina Soto Acebal

Programme Operations Officer

Agustina Soto Acebal joined the International Council of Nurses (ICN) in May 2023 and currently serves as Programme Operations Officer In this role, she leads the coordination and operational delivery of strategic programmes and initiatives that support ICN's mission to strengthen nursing leadership, policy, education, professional development, and global engagement. Her work spans programme management, policy consultations, accreditation initiatives, stakeholder engagement, governance support, and the development of operational systems and processes that enhance organizational effectiveness and impact. 

Originally from Argentina, Agustina brings extensive international experience across the private, non-profit, and international sectors. Her career has encompassed leadership, project management, stakeholder engagement, and operational coordination roles in Latin America, Africa, and Europe. Prior to joining ICN, she worked with Public Services International (PSI), supporting international governance processes, membership relations, stakeholder communications, and policy meetings and conferences. 

Agustina combines strong operational leadership, project management expertise, and a collaborative approach to advancing initiatives that support nurses and strengthen health systems worldwide.
