The International Council of Nurses (ICN) is pleased to present the ICN Registry of Credentialing Research (ICN-RCR©1) – a web based resource designed to help disseminate research findings in the field of credentialing.  ICN has a longstanding commitment to study and improve the processes of regulation worldwide and to strengthen nursing and nursing services to the public.  ICN-RCR© is a companion to the ICN framework for studying occupational regulation, which has proved highly useful in assisting countries to improve their system of professional regulation.

ICN-RCR© is open to all researchers and relevant professionals who wish to submit data for inclusion in the registry.  ICN is not responsible for confirming the validity of the data submitted.  Please click here for a list of studies registered to date.   The registry is currently available in English only.  However, ICN will translate into English submissions by members  which are completed in French or Spanish.

ICN wishes to acknowledge the significant contribution of the American Nurses Credentialing Center to the development of the Registry of Credentialing Research.
