The GNLI Advisory Committee will select participants from completed Applications received by the deadline: 15 February 2012.
In order to maximize the international learning environment, the Advisory Committee selects applicants who both meet the essential criteria and contribute to the best overall composition for the GNLI in terms of countries and professional background

A |
Is a registered nurse and/or nurse midwife with the appropriate regulatory authority in their country (if applicable). |

B |
Has had previous relevant leadership and/or management education and experience. |
|
C |
Is at an appropriately senior level in their country. |
|
D |
Demonstrates capacity for senior level leadership development. |
|
E |
Demonstrates motivation for undertaking senior leadership development and a potential to influence nursing at medium/long term. |

F |
Demonstrates a personal vision for the future of nursing and health services in their country. |
|
G |
Demonstrates competence in speaking and reading English. |
Applicants must show clearly in their Application Form how they meet these criteria
When will I hear if I am successful?
Applicants will be advised of the outcome of the Advisory Committee decisions early April 2012. Successful participants will receive a Participant Pack providing further information and requesting leadership assessment information.
