RCNMP ICN-Accredited Centre for ICNP® Research and Development

The Research Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Practice (RCNMP) of the Australian Capital Territory Government (ACT) Health and the Australian National University is located in the Canberra Hospital. The RCNMP is also known as the Australian Capital Regional Centre for Evidence-Based Nursing and Midwifery (ACRENM): An Affiliated Centre of Joanna Briggs Institute, University of Adelaide which focuses on evidence utilisation and developing clinical guidelines based on systematic reviews. The mission of the RCNMP is the establishment and fostering of a vibrant centre of inquiry to advance understanding of the factors influencing health care improvement and quality health outcomes in preventative, acute, chronic and rehabilitation, mental health, midwifery and aged care and establishing sustainable frameworks and processes to maintain and continually improve evidence-based practice across ACT Health and the Asia-Pacific region.
