Is the GNLI sponsored?

External funding is required to assist ICN in delivering the GNLI programme at a reasonable cost and to provide a number of bursaries to facilitate the attendance of colleagues from lower income countries.

ICN-Burdett GNLI 2011 – 2013

ICN is delighted to be in partnership with the Burdett Trust for Nursing, for the support and development of the GNLI in its next phase from 2011 to 2013.The Burdett Trust for Nursing is an independent charitable Trust named after Sir Henry Burdett KCB, the founder of the Royal National Pension Fund for Nurses (RNPFN) in the United Kingdom. The Trust was set up in recognition of the foundation philosophy and structure of the RNPFN. Working in collaboration with their funding partners the Trustees aim to make grants to nurses and other healthcare professionals involved in a wide range of innovative projects.

Support for the Global Nursing Leadership Institute is also provided by Pfizer Inc., the founding sponsor.
