The ICN-Accredited Centre for Information Systems Research and Development of the Porto Nursing School is located in Porto, Portugal. The mission of the ICN-Accredited Centre for ICNP® Research & Development will be to improve the quality of nursing education and care through the research and development of Nursing Information Systems (NIS) and to support ICNP® development, in collaboration with ICN. The Centre will operate within the mission and goals of the Nursing School of Porto (ESEP), in direct collaboration with the School Research Unit (UNIESEP). Through the ESEP, the Centre will have direct cooperation with the Ordem dos Enfermeiros (ICN member National Nurses Association).
