Sessions on R and R nursing Malta

Postby jb@icn » 04 Apr 2011, 16:35

Network core steering group members are sharing information on presentations they or their organisations will be making related to rural and remote nursing.during the ICN conference in May in Malta. It would be good if others who are presenting in Malta on issues of relevance to rural and remote nursing also post information on their sessions. We invite you to do so on this forum.

Below are the presentations of the network core steering group or their organisations:

C_260_a English EXPLORING THE ROLE OF NURSES DURING THE ‘BLACK SATURDAY’ AND VICTORIAN BUSHFIRES OF 2009 IN AUSTRALIA 5/6/2011 12:00 PM to 1:30PM Cotoner Hall

C_450_a English FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE QUALITY OF CARE IN GLOBAL RURAL HEALTH Marianne Baernholdt: 5/7/2011 1:30PM to 3:00:00 PM Cotoner Hall

I am currently a nursing student taking Global Health and I find rural nursing very interesting and amazing. Nursing autonomy, effective communication and leadership skills must be critical to have as well as staying up with the latest technology available such as telemedicine.

Unfortunately Malta is very far away as I would love to hear the presentations. Will they be available on this site after the conference?
