Internet Use in Developing Nations

Postby KBreitkreuz » 10 Nov 2011, 23:30

Hello All,

In 2009 I completed a research project examining nursing students perceptions of the phenomena of using the internet in their nursing education. I would like to continue this research, expanding to many more low-income nations, who have some level of internet access available to nursing students, and who require students in some way to utilize the internet. Is there anyone who knows of nursing schools, colleges or programs that would fit this criteria who may be interested in participating? I would be willing to discuss more possibilities via email if you represent an interested party.

Thank you.

Dear Dr. K.R. Breitkreuz,

You may be interested to put this question to the global discussion forum HIFA2015 (Healthcare Information For All by 2015), which includes about 300 nurses and nursing academics worldwide with an interest in the availability and use of healthcare information in low income countries, including issues of internet access and use.
