ICN Health Policy Summit 2017

19 September 2017, Philadelphia, USA

The Health Policy Summit is the first of its kind held by ICN and designed to focus on topics of particular relevance to global health and inform ICN action.

For the duration of one day, the event gathers a selected group of 100 policy experts chosen (invitation only) for their particular knowledge of this year’s central theme,

“What is nursing’s role/responsibility in human rights and humanitarian crises?”  and offers a platform to exchange and generate the basis for effective implementation frameworks.

The inaugural Health Policy Summit will be held in Philadelphia, USA, and attended by 80 nurse experts and 20 non-nurse experts set to focus on areas of global health concern:

1.    Ageing

2.    Mental Health

3.    Migrants, Refugees and Displaced Persons

4.    Health Effects of Climate Change
