


The International Centre for Nursing Ethics (ICNE) is a worldwide collaboration of researchers in nursing ethics focussing on issues of morality, professional ethics, philosophy of care, cultural and religious values, law and accountability.
The ICNE and Deakin University Centre for Quality and Patient Safety Research (QPS) are pleased to present the 14th ICNE conference, to be held 16 - 17 May, 2013 in Melbourne, Australia. The conference will provide a platform for academic discussions on ethical challenges in end of life practice and policy imperatives. The conference also aims to strengthen the network of practitioners, manager, researchers, educators and students in the field of nursing and healthcare ethics and to develop an international dialogue in relation to caring, ethics of care and nursing ethics. Furthermore it aims to identify strategies to deal with challenges to ethical caring.
The conference, which will be held over one and a half days, will address the conference theme through plenary and concurrent oral presentations.
