


The International Centre for Nursing Ethics (ICNE) and Hacettepe University Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department are pleased to announce the 13th ICNE conference, to be held on October 4-6, 2012 in Kuşadası Region İzmir, Turkey.
The conference venue is Surmeli Efes Hotel, which is located in the resort city of Kusadasi, on the Aegean Sea. It is four kilometres away from the Ephesus Ancient City.
The conference theme will be Overcoming Challenges to Ethical Caring addressed through plenary and concurrent oral presentations.
The objectives of the conference are:
To strengthen the network of researchers, educators, managers, practitioners and students in the field of nursing and healthcare ethics,
To develop an international dialogue in relation to caring, ethics of care and nursing ethics,
To provide a platform for academic discussions on ethical challenges in all aspects of nursing practice, management, education and research,
To identify strategies to deal with challenges to ethical caring.
