  • Description
"A paucity of research on the work experiences of registered practical nurses (RPNs) in Ontario prompted the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario (RPNAO) to conduct a province-wide study of RPNs in 2010. The research study used a mixed methods design that included surveys and interviews with a select number of survey respondents. This report presents the results of the interview phase of the study. Five focus groups were held with 31 RPNs across Ontario. Nurses were interviewed about their work experiences and asked to identify key factors that affect their ability to provide high-quality care." (extract from document)
