  • Abstract
    Since the Alpha Version of the ICNP® was constructed in 1996, the Beta 2 Version of the ICNP® (2001) has served with the framework of a multiaxial, hierarchical structure in two separate classification systems. The ICNP® Version 1.0 (2005) made a number of major revisions to reflect current needs of users and to support contemporary health care environment. This project will compare characteristics from ICNP® Beta 2 through Version 2.0 to identify changes in the development of ICNP® classification.
