  • Abstract
A study took place to evaluate the specific role of nursing in invasive medical treatments. We investigated the kinds and frequency of each nursing practice in the transurethral ureterolithotripsy (TUL) according to the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP®). We recorded all actions and terms of nurses with a video camera through TUL treatment and analyzed each action or term according to the ICNP®. As a result, we expect to show the independent roles of nursing in invasive medical treatments.
