  • Abstract
This project will study the treatment of a disease requiring the close cooperation of at least 2 professions: nursing and medicine. Both professions use their own information without the use of the other system. In medicine, even in turn cooperate in the treatment of a disease, if a large number of disciplines and specialists. They will use an interactive expert system (CLEOS), which works by using an electronic medical history and other related systems, linking to international classifications and provides the data input device with mobile systems. This system makes use of clinical pathways, international guidelines, case management software as well as internationally available or independently developed thesauri. The application combines academic research, foundation work and industrial research and shows the potential quality improvement in the care of patients through new technologies at reduced costs.
