We are a company in Austria developing a Hospital Information System. In cooperation with the Austrian Health and Nursing Association (OEGKV) we are developing a computer program for planning and documentation nursing care using ICNP®. We want to offer all part of the ICNP® in the German language. The customers can decide which parts they use. Our work in 2004 will be to conceptualize and test how to use ICNP® in a computer program for nursing planning and documentation. The first version of our product should be available in 2005. At this time, our customers include 13 hospitals in Austria. Some of them want to add a computer program for nursing planning and documentation in addition to our existing programs for medical documentation and administration.
