  • Abstract
"Enter once, use many" is a widely accepted notion that stresses the importance of reusing nursing data for various purposes. Although any studies on standardized representation have been done in this regard most of them have focused on describing data and few studies have tested utilizing it in problem-solving. This study will identify potentials and perils of the ICNP as a representational underpinning to inference nursing data for problem solving. In order to do so, a couple of nursing problems will be asserted in Protégé (e.g. A-Box) using the terminological representation of the ICNP (e.g., T-box). This newly created Protégé application (with RACER) will classify patients into a right category to answer the corresponding problem.
