Operated by nurses and leading nursing internationally, ICN works to ensure quality nursing care for all and sound health policies globally.
The second ICN Latin American Work Force Forum will be held 24-25 April 2014 in Havana, Cuba, in partnership with FEPPEN and with the support of the Sociedad Cubana de Enfermería. Over the past 24 years ICN, in collaboration with national nursing associations, has been working on socio-economic welfare issues through workforce forums. The Forum has the purpose of stimulating thinking, enhance learning and ultimately assist in developing proactive strategies to address key challenges and issues such as the impact of the economic downturn, universal health coverage, nurses’ working conditions, etc. For more information on ICN’s Workforce Forums click here.

Fake medicines are a threat to public health and put patients at risk of drug resistance, prolonged illness, disability and even death. Combatting this danger to public health requires a comprehensive strategy of multi-stakeholder collaboration at local and global levels.
